Understanding Russia Today: Foreign and Domestic Policy - SOLD OUT

Russia’s actions and intentions appear to be in unpredictable flux. Dr. Alexandra Vacroux, Executive Director of the Davis Center for Russian & Eurasian Studies at Harvard, promises to bring an unusual depth of understanding to Putin’s grand plan.

Prior to joining the Davis Center, Dr. Vacroux was a Senior Scholar at the Kennan Institute (Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars) in Washington, D.C.  She lived in Russia for a dozen years, starting in 1992, and worked in both the private and the public sectors.  She was director for sales and president of the U.S. brokerage for Brunswick Warburg investment bank in Moscow; a Research Associate at the Center for Financial and Economic Research (CEFIR) in Moscow; and an active board member for United Way Moscow.  She also served as a consultant to the Russian Privatization Agency.
