Annual Send-Off Event

Join us for the Club’s annual “Send-Off Event” for the 2020 & 2021 Newly-Admitted Students to Harvard College.
Additionally, come meet all of the other Crimson students from our region who will be heading back to campus this Fall.

This is a Harvard Event for the entire family!

Thanks to a generous donation, this event is FREE to club members and guests.
 

Come learn which courses, projects, and other endeavors the “New Admits” will be undertaking in the coming academic year.  Offer your tips for success with them and share your fondest memories of your own time at Harvard as well. 

There will also be time for reminiscing with your fellow Alums during the cocktail hour held in the Science Center's Aquarium area, with light bites and a cash bar while you enjoy a collection of songs performed by Amelia Williams of A Capella group Armonia.  Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for the younger Crimsons-To-Be (they may even want to ask for advice from the students of the Classes of 2024 & 2025 during the Harvard Family Event).

After the cocktail reception, a private presentation of "Dynamic Earth" will be shown in the Science Center's Planetarium, narrated by Liam Neeson.  Attendees will ride along on swirling ocean and wind currents, dive into the heart of a monster hurricane, come face-to-face with sharks and gigantic whales, and fly into roiling volcanoes.  Following the Planetarium presentation, our group will be treated to a custom highlights tour of the Science Center’s Exhibits!  Prefer to create your own tour?  The Harvard Club of the Palm Beaches has exclusive access to the Science Center on this evening; feel free to be your own tour guide(!)
