“Interior Chinatown”
by Charles Yu
This National Book Award winner is a personal, darkly humorous novel that explores pop culture’s roles and stereotypes. It examines roles both in acting and in real life, touching on family and parenthood with a uniquely American perspective on immigration and assimilation across generations.
Charles Yu has written four books and has been a screenwriter for shows on FX, AMC, and HBO. He received the National Book Foundation’s “5 Under 35 Award,” and two Writers Guild of America awards.
In order to keep the discussion intimate, and to allow all members to share their thoughts, there will be a 20-person maximum. If you are unable to register via the Club's website, please email the Club Administrator at harvardclub.pb@gmail.com to be placed on the waitlist.
