The recipe to Fish House Punch has remained a secret ever since the drink was created by members of a private society in Pennsylvania in 1732.
Almost three centuries later, Christian D'Andrea ‘94 inadvertently happened upon the mysterious recipe in a rare books archive.
Join us at the beautiful Tideline resort for a tasting of Fish House Punch, made from the formula unearthed by Mr. D’Andrea. He'll also shed light on the colorful history of the fabled elixir. It’ll be a lively evening of history that you can taste.
About our speaker
After getting his BA from Harvard and his MA from Oxford, Christian D'Andrea became a motion picture agent at ICM, an executive at Tarantino's film company, and a producer/director of documentary series for networks like Discovery and Weather Channel (for one project, he flew into hurricanes with the Air Force's extreme weather squadron). His first book, Touching the Dragon, was published by Knopf, and his next one is about the most prolific undercover operative in FBI history. He's also been the U.S. Army's R&D partner in performance nutrition, and his current business venture involves designing cognitive performance supplements for Navy SEALs.
