The Revolutionary: Samuel Adams
by Stacy Schiff

(Zoom information will be sent in advance)
In this biography, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Stacy Schiff documents how Adams’ moral leadership, creative tactics, and vision led to the greatest campaign of civil resistance in American history—the revolution. Thomas Jefferson said that if there were any singular leader of the revolution, “Samuel Adams was the man.” Schiff connects our past to our present insightfully and spurs us to think about the lessons of Adams’ life. The Wall Street Journal selected this biography as one of the 10 best books of 2022. Schiff is the author of several other critically acclaimed biographies and historical works.
